shadowkatThe New York Times finally called it Presidential Election Results - Biden Wins!
They are celebrating in my neighborhood. At the corner of Church and Ocean Parkway, folks are gathered with noise-makers, and cheering. Cars pass by and honk and wave, and the passengers cheer!
It's an amazing thing. And the weather is beautiful - sunny, in the 70s, as if it approves somehow.
And that's nothing compared to what they are doing north of me, in Park Slope, Fort Green, Carroll Gardens and Downtown Brooklyn.. They are dancing in the street in Courtelyou - Ditmas Park.

Biden got NEVADA finally and is well on his way to getting Pennsylvania. So Biden has Arizona, Nevada, Pennsylvania and possibly Georgia.
Cover of today's New York Times - Biden Beats Trump - Harris is the first woman elected Vice President.
I still wish all the votes were in. Although they wouldn't have called it if it wasn't official.

Date: 2020-11-07 11:55 pm (UTC)The only worry is that the delegates won't certify it, but we don't see that happening. And the Supreme Court won't support him - they want to be non-political. And the Senate and House won't either.
