1. John Scalzi's rundown on all of the social media outlets that he's on...gave me a headache and motivated me to put myself on the waiting list for blue sky

The world is a cliquish place. (In regards to blue sky - which I just want to lurk on to watch Guillermo Tol Doro build his models.)

My mother told me that as a young child I got along with everyone in our neighborhood in West Chester, PA. But people began to form cliques, as people will do, and I didn't understand the need for them - I wanted to be friends with everyone. And they expected me to choose one of the groups...and well.

I wish the world was less insular and cliquish.
