I walked away from correcting people on Facebook the other day - that was a lot of people saying our Covid-19 cases had stayed at the same level since 3rd April and not dipped any. They were missing the point that comparing figures now with 3rd April isn't really comparing like for like because on 3rd April they were only testing people in hospital, while the same figure today would also include over 65s, those in care homes and key workers, and if the testing criteria had been consistent throughout that time period the graph could have looked quite different. But I didn't think I would achieve anything arguing.
