The lower price usually means you get more ads when you first turn it on, which doesn't really bother me. You can turn off the light on the paperwhite too, and adjust to various levels. It has never been a problem for me. But again, know nothing about the other.
I use mine at least that much, probably more, when I'm traveling (which is often), but sometimes read books at home. Again, the battery holds up during use a lot better than a computer or tablet or phone. E-ink is a lovely thing.
